Welcome to the Minchinhampton Branch of Riding for the Disabled. Based at Barton End Stables in Nailsworth in Gloucestershire.
Our aim is to have fun with horses, safely. Our riders enjoy lessons, games and hacks out in the beautiful Cotswold countryside.

Gerry suffered a traumatic brain injury after a fall playing polocrosse several years ago. This has affected his speech, memory and balance.
However he does remember how to ride a horse and is particularly skilled at riding with the reins in one hand.
He loves to ride, enjoys staying for a cup or tea and a chat with us and is also a meticulous tack cleaner.
He is a great sport and always happy to join in games and races with other riders.
Lessons focus on maintaining balance and forward movement as well as lots of stretching and work without stirrups.
